Chocolate Chip Cookies

Classic homemade chocolate chip cookies with a soft center and crispy edges.
Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- 2Mix dry ingredients
In a small bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- 3Cream butter and sugars
In a large bowl, beat butter and both sugars until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
- 4Combine and add chocolate
Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips.
- 5Bake
Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets. Bake for 9-12 minutes until golden. Cool on wire racks.
